Jerry Craven is a writer who supports himself by teaching. He has published over two dozen short stories in magazines and anthologies, dozens of poems in literary journals, and many pieces of creative nonfiction. He has published 20 books, the most recent of which are Tickling Catfish, a Texan Looks at Culture from Amarillo to Borneo (creative nonfiction) and Snake Mountain (a novel).
