Sean Gallagher was born in Whitby, North Yorkshire, educated in South Africa, and moved on to London, where he consulted to charities and ran problem-solving workshops. He produced Friends of the Earth's first award-winning campaign and directed UK's first environmental publishing house before coming recently to the real world of fiction. His work includes a dark tv sitcom pilot (as-yet unsold) and a handful of stories, with work published in the Dublin Quarterly and Carve Magazine.
