James Ward Lee is emeritus professor of English at the University of North Texas and acquisitions editor for TCU Press. Lee is author of Classics of Texas Fiction, Texas, My Texas, and books on various British and American authors. He has edited the journals Studies in the Novel, American Literary Review, and New Texas. He and Judy Alter edited Literary Fort Worth in 2003, and, in 2004, his Adventures with a Texas Humanist will come out from TCU Press. James Lee lives in Fort Worth.
